Given the current circumstances, Paws Grooming Studio + Spa is working hard to make sure that the safety of each pet and their people are at the forefront of our operations. In doing so, we are implementing new policies that keep all parties as safe as possible while we keep our promise in delivering the best care. While we strive to keep a clean and sanitary salon, we are going above and beyond! 

 

New policies starting June 1st:

  1. All services, including stand-alone services, must have an appointment. 
     

    • Upon arrival for drop-off or pick-up, please call our salon to let us know you have arrived. Although we hope to have our store-front available for access shortly, we ask that you remain outside our salon patiently. 

      • For stand-alone service appointments (i.e. nail trims, face trims, etc.), we ask that you remain at the salon waiting for your service to be completed. If you would like to retreat in your vehicle instead of outside our doors, just let your stylist know before leaving.

      • For full-service appointments (i.e. bath and brush, all-over grooming, etc.), we ask that you allow us 2-3 hours for your pet's services to be completed. Even though it may seem long, it allows us to safely and professionally achieve the services requested. You may leave the store or remain in your vehicle, however, we will not be allowing clients to remain in our store-front for services to be completed.
         

  2. All pets coming in for any services will be requested to have proper fitting restraints.
     

    • All dogs and puppies must have a leash and collar that provide safety from slipping out and running away. They may stay with your pet during the appointment or you may remove it prior to leaving your pet for services.

    • All cats must come in a properly sized carrier. Leashes, towels, or freely restrained cats are not permitted as these are not proper restraints. 
       

  3. Our staff will be using personal protection wear (PPW) such as gloves, hand sanitizer, and masks to prevent cross-contamination. In addition to PPW, we will be practicing proper social distancing and caution.
     

  4. If you, or anyone in your household, are showing any symptoms or have confirmed cases, we require that you reschedule your appointment to a later time (minimum 14 days from the original appointment). We understand the inconvenience, however, we need to make sure that we are keeping our salon as safe as possible when it comes to COVID-19.
     

  5. Appointments will have reminder messages sent out 48-hours prior to the scheduled appointment via text message. Clients are required to notify Paws Grooming Studio within the 24-48 time frame in order to avoid a cancellation fee of $25/pet scheduled. Clients arriving later than 10 minutes may be rescheduled at the discretion of the Paws Staff and/or may be charged a convenience fee of $25/pet added to their services (this does not include stand-alone services).
